Visitors will enjoy a full day of food, activities and live music at Fort Monroe. After dark, a 12-minute fireworks show will light up the sky above the fortress. Festivities begin 10 a.m.; fireworks, 9:15 p.m. Admission free.

Sandbridge Beach; Boat Parade at 6:30 p.m. and Fireworks at 9 p.m.
At 6:30 pm on July 4, the annual Boat Parade will begin. The Fireworks display will start at 9:00 pm and be set off from the Mill Pond at Sand Bend Road and Back Bay Crescent.

9th Annual East Beach Independence Day Parade Salutes Armed Forces
The Community of East Beach will now hold its 9th Annual July 4th Parade on Saturday, July 5th at 10 a.m, due to the impending storm. The parade will begin on East Beach Drive and end at the East Beach Bay Front Club. The best location for spectators to view the parade will be at Fountain Park, 27th Bay Street, and Pleasant Avenue, from 28th Bay to 25th Bay. 22nd Annual Independence Day Celebration in Corolla
The event has been rescheduled for Monday, July 7. The event will feature food vendors, a cornhole tournament, watermelon eating contest, and children’s games. Town of Nags Head's Fireworks Spectacular
Event originally scheduled for July 4, has been moved to Saturday, July 5 at 9:25 pm. The fireworks will be shot off from Nags Head Pier, as originally planned.
