How you got started in radio & what brought you to The Eagle:
I interned at a different local station when I was 15 years old but ALWAYS had dreams of being on The Eagle. I grew up listening to the station so to me it was the main reason I even got into radio in the first place. At 17 The Eagle gave me my first paid radio job and when I begged the Boss, John Shomby to put me on the air he told me to go get more experience...I left 12 years ago and am SO EXCITED to be back home and live out my dream of being on the air on 97.3 The Eagle, me hometown radio station.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be:
Seared Scallops with grits from Mahi Mah's, it's literally the best thing EVER! (Thanks, now I'm hungry)
Favorite artist (does not have to be country):
Right now or all time? (Right now: Thomas Rhett!) (All time: Michael Jackson)
Favorite song (does not have to be country):
See above, :) (Right now: "My Church" by Maren Morris)
(All time: "Imagine" by John Lennon)
Favorite part about living in Hampton Roads:
The Beach! I don't condone it and you should ALWAYS stay in school :) but I spent several days "Sick" from school and at the beach on my surfboard...I don't think I could get my dad bod on a surfboard anymore...but I'll still be out there ever chance I get.
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie what would it be?
Oceans Eleven, one I get to be BFF with Brad Pitt and two we get to "knock over" a casino, win win!
How would you spend a billion dollars?
House for the parents, 57 Chevy for my dad, College paid off for all my relatives, all bills and debt paid for my family, a few random acts of kindness here and there and then one heck of a vacation on a beach somewhere :)
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
DEFINITELY the past...I would love to see the 60s, The Old West, and heck the birth of Christ!! Who wouldn't want to be able to go back and see the famous events in history!
