Jason Aldean is in hot water this weekend with his fans...and more importantly his family after these pictures hit TMZ.

That's Jason but that's not his wife...


This photo was taken at an LA bar where Jason was getting a bit too close with former Idol contestant Brittany Kerr.  Jason is married to his high school sweetheart and they have two little girls.

Jason issued a statement to his fans on facebook and twitter saying, "Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations about my personal life on gossip web sites," he wrote.

"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself," he wrote.

"I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys," he continued. "I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support."

Unfortunately, Jason IS in the public eye and I'm not sure it's possible to keep it private at this point. I just hope his family can be spared any more embarrassment.
